The Artist in Residence Programme at the Brontë Birthplace

The Birthplace Exhibition was something that I learned about back in September 2025, a few months after the Brontë Birthplace officially opened to the public in the Spring.

The Artist in Residence Programme was something that immediately captivated me, and I felt it was something I would love to be not only a part of, but contribute to - something which mirrors my own ethos in giving back to a community that I feel proud to be part of.

My exhibition, Brontë Country and Beyond, is more than just an ode to my love for all things Brontë, but a glimpse into how I see the natural world around me, and conveyed through my art.

The exhibition runs from Saturday 24th January 2026 to the end of March. Entry to the birthplace is £6, and is the opportunity to see where the Brontë Sisters were born and where they spent the first few years of their lives before the family moved to the Parsonage in Haworth.
